Download BlockBot 1.4

Updating? Do this

1. Close the old BlockBot: click the X on its small window.
2. Click the blue Download button above.
3. Open BlockBot-1.4.exe: click it in your browser's downloads (the arrow at the top right of Chrome or Edge), or find it in your Downloads folder. If you see older BlockBot files there, you can delete them.
4. Wait about 10 seconds for it to open. Click it only once. The top of the small BlockBot window should say BlockBot 1.4.
5. Open Block Blast in Google Play Games and start a game.
6. Press F8 (on some laptops Fn+F8, or press Ctrl+Alt+B). Then don't touch the mouse or touchpad — touching it stops BlockBot (that's on purpose). Press F8 again to stop.

If Windows or your browser warns you

BlockBot is new and moves the mouse for you, so Windows doesn't know it yet. These warnings are normal for it.

• Chrome says the file "isn't commonly downloaded", "may be dangerous" or "Suspicious download blocked": click the arrow or ⋮ next to the file, then Keep / Download suspicious file.
• Edge says "isn't commonly downloaded": hover the file, click ··· → Keep → Show more → Keep anyway.
• Blue window "Windows protected your PC": click the small words More info, then the button Run anyway. (No "Run anyway" at all and it says Smart App Control? Tell Tab.)
• The file disappeared or Chrome says "Virus detected": Windows Security took it away by mistake. Open the Start menu, type Windows Security, open it → Virus & threat protection → Protection history → click the BlockBot entry → Actions → Restore (or Allow on device), then download again. Windows may ask "Yes/No" — click Yes.
• Another antivirus (Norton, McAfee, Avast…): find BlockBot in its quarantine / blocked list and choose Restore or Allow.

While it plays

• The small BlockBot window moves next to the game by itself. Leave it open; it says what it's doing.
• Ads, popups, "Game over", "New best": it waits and starts again by itself when the board is back. After "Game over", start a new game yourself. It never taps revive, ad or buy buttons.
• Keep the whole game window on the screen (not under the taskbar). If part is hidden, BlockBot waits and tells you.
• It can't find the game: click Select game area and drag a box around the game.
• Pieces miss when it's fast: pick Speed Normal.
• A yellow box appears: click Send log to Tab, then send the file log.txt to Tab on WhatsApp (WhatsApp on your PC, or web.whatsapp.com: drag the file into the chat).

First time ever?

Install Google Play Games for PC from play.google.com/googleplaygames and sign in. In it, search Block Blast, install it, then follow the steps above.
